Every summer in the Southwest...just when you think you'll end up to be a puddle on the kitchen floor from how hot it is...crash! crackle! Lightning strikes , thunder roars, and your afternoon is blessed with a cool down of showers otherwise known as the annual monsoons. The temperature drops about 10 to 15 degrees, the storm lasts for about an hour (maybe more...maybe less), and then life goes on...a little bit cooler and smelling fresh and clean.

The first Monsoon!!
