book me
I am searching for a "stick your nose in a book and where did the time go" lengthy novel for our flight to France...suggestions? And if you're planning a long flight or expect layovers during your holiday break might I suggest "I Am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe. It's from 2004 and 688 pages and good to the very last period. I read it on a Christmas trip to Mexico and could not put it down.

La dee da, flight to france. Wish I was in your shoes!
I would say The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It has been recommended to me at least five times! I have yet to read it, though, so itd be risky. ;)
I loved Charlotte Simmons - very awesome read.
Why don't you get a Kindle and that way you can have all kinds of books at your finger tips. I don't own one but my sister does and it would have come in handy when I was traveling abroad.
What kind of stories do you like? I love Danielle Steel and Sydney Sheldon. =)
