Although the funding for my job title is no more, there is the possibility that I can "steal" another job in the school district that will become available because of other teachers being laid off with less experience than me and leaving their jobs open. Hmmm...not sure how I feel about that, but something to think about.
What I do know that I want to do with the future is find a showroom that would be a great fit to wholesale my DOTS t-shirts...so, if you know of any in the L.A., Atlanta, Chicago merchandise marts--please give me a heads up. Have a great day everyone!

So sorry to hear that. But if you have to take a job from a less experienced teacher then you have to. Tenure is one of the ONLY job perks a teacher gets. You gotta pay the bills. But go on with your business, that is awesome.
I agree - you have to do what you have to do. But it is nice to have a point to evaluate where you want to be too. Good luck and you just never know where this may lead.
