Hair today

Don't you just love Jaclyn Smith? She's the host of the reality show Shear Genius on BRAVO and of course, one of the original Charlie's Angels. What we love about her is how classic, how gorgeous she is without telling anyone!
And...I'm also thinking about bringing her picture (no, not to the plastic surgeons) to my hairdresser...a new look, a little longer but not too long to be confused with a 1970's country western singer. It's a great length, easy to work with, and can you believe this woman is 61 years old and looks this fabulous?!

My Day

Last year I was hiking Italy and this year calming my nerves on a talk show...you've come a long way, baby! A somewhat crazy birthday which we'll talk about later...but for now, happy birthday to me and anyone else who may call 6/2 the day they entered planet Earth.

1960

Such a fun in the sun car, but just like a woman of a certain age, this 1960 Corvette needs TLC and maintenance to keep her happy. My favorite part has to be the seats...like a racing car (well, I guess that's because that's what the car was made for) that just cradle you in comfort.
I get a little social anxiety driving (always a passenger...have never drove the girl) with my husband during the day because everyone notices and someone always will ask "What year is that?" My husband sheepishly said that the first time he drove the Corvette that he felt like a celebrity because of all the lookers and craned necks. I prefer the summer nights, relaxing in the seat, head back and gazing at the stars...now, that's a summer drive.

Here we go again! Another interview, another 6-7 minutes to get totally freaked out and think how having a shot at 10:30 in the AM to ease the nerves doesn't really seem that early :" Coming up on "Good Day Arizona"

I am loving that this necklace was hand embroidered by a girl in France on Etsy who was dreaming about Mexico..."I thought about the Mexican gardens in which I've spent many a weekend, witnessed many a wedding reception and celebrated many a national holiday. While all the gardens I remember have been filled with everything from peacocks and fountains to cacti and murals, this particular one is filled with colorful flowers in bloom and a wee bird.

I think it will look dreamy with this top she created as well..."I pinned and tucked here and there on both a dress form and a live model until this romantic wee top was sculpted from my imagination with lots of attention to tailoring and fit." I love it...fabulous finds and you get a peek at who created your style.
