I rarely find time to do any reading on my own. Until now. The broken foot and crutches have forced me to slow down, get to bed early, and read...and read...and read.
I'm just about done with The Swan Thieves (500+ pages and I assumed it would take me to Spring Break to finish when I was hiking and walking...um...make that 5 days!) and had recently closed the cover on "The Help". I've got the boot for another 7 weeks...although the crutches should be out the door this weekend. Got any suggestions to help this cripple out?

Thanks for the two book recommendations. I read the Historian and love it. I need to go get her next book.
I read a lot during winter months..... so
I am reading (again) the Diana Gabaldon Series of Outlander. There are 7 books each about 1000 pages. So that might hold you over until the boot comes off:)

How did you like The Help? I'm currently reading The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs and am really enjoying his quest to read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica.

1. You've Got To Read This Book
2. Memoirs of a Geisha
3. DVD: Step Into Liquid.
It will make you happy and speed healing nicely.
