wild kingdom

This is a view from our back patio. Gorgeous rocks, green grass, and...a bobcat tonight! It's actually a bit scary when you see a wild animal that's...wild. You're not sure what it's going to do. Not quick enough to grab a pic but husband and I were studying him while he was watching some visiting quail on our rocks.
PS. along with our newly discovered bobcat, our back and front yard are also home to skunks, raccoons, coyotes, and javelinas!

When I lived in Los Angeles, I had a bob cat that lived in my back yard. It used to leave little pressies on my door step. He ate all the skunks (which i had a huge skunk problem, 13 of them and the city would not do a thing!)
and all the farrell cats! he ate them all.
I never had any problem with him. But then again, I just left him alone.

I was surprised too that they liked skunks.
I had no idea what a javelinas was, so I had to look that one up! Now I know! a type of wild pig. :)
