This year our children have given birth to a new baby, a new house, and a new career...quite a few changes and all rank up high on the stress level. To make things easier for everyone during the holiday season we are going to be choosing names from a hat (not necessarily a top hat as the picture suggests...)where each recipient will only buy for one person. I haven't done anything like this since I was a child but we're hoping it will make the gift giving season less stressful and more spirit driven. What about your family? Do you buy for hundreds or have some sort of system for cost/stress effectiveness?

For years, we always drew names from a hat, but now we only buy gifts for the kids. (and I sneak in a few goodies for my grandparents ~ they deserve treats at Christmas too!).
