what will the weekend bring?

Recently a couple doors have closed but I'm looking forward to seeing what's happening through the windows...I think it might be better than what was behind the closed door!

make lemonade and have a party, right? I would if I lived in this lemon grove...fabulous, no?

I made my first lemon meringue pie a couple of weeks ago. It was actually fairly easy to do and it turned out perfectly. Question: do you refrigerate lemon meringue pies? hmmmm...seems like after I did the meringue wasn't as fresh and fluffy. Perhaps this means that pie should be eaten in its entirety at one sitting? Maybe I missed something in the creation of the meringue? Any bakers out there--do tell.

I went into my local Target looking for these but sadly there were none available and they're sold out online. BUT...

yesterday rain and today snow. yes. snow. in arizona. the weekend calls for our old friend, sunshine to visit once more.

isn't it funny that when you're searching for something else you come across something completely different but completely wonderful?
